Item not as described

I purchased 2 digital calendars, after a few days the delivery day changed & the items wouldn’t arrive for when I needed them. I contacted the seller about returning the items and they offered a 10% discount. I accepted this thinking I could post them to who they was intended for. A couple of days later Royal Mail left me a card saying there was a custom charge to be paid £51.00! (Should’ve read the description correctly) I ended up paying this fee, sent the items on and one isn’t working. I’ve contacted the seller who asked me to forward a video, which I did on 1/1/26, messaged the seller again yesterday and they have just asked me to send a video again. I’ve tried getting help from eBay, but they are saying case closed can’t be appealed. Is there anything else I can do?

Item not as described

Hi vickel24, thanks for your post.

You should be able to file a return request under the reason "not working" or "not as described" and the seller will have to obligation to provide you a returns label, so you can send them the item back free of charge for a full refund. If you click here, you will be able to file the return request.

If the seller refuses to provide you with a returns label or take the item back, you can escalate the case to us after 3 business days since filing the return, and we will take actions accordingly.

Thank you,

Marco
