Item hasn't arrived frustration

Hello, eBay is driving me nuts right now. And I try to support them but i'm about ready to delete my account and be done with it.

By mistake, I closed a 'request' I had open because an item did not arrive. I paid for the item and have not received it.

I closed the request ACCIDENTALLY since I thought I'd 'selected' the wrong reason... thought I could change this... No. Computer says no. And now I have been going round and round in circles trying to 'chat' or contact customer services and all I'm getting is chatbot standard answers - with no way of correcting an 'error' I made in closing the request.

How, how, how..... can I speak to ANYONE at eBay?? I tried calling - we are closed now, hung up. According to their opening times, they are open now.

In the chat window is a chatbot - UNABLE to help me on this... simply offers to call me on US or Canada numbers. I am not in the US or Canada.. therefore I can't enter a number - non-US/non-Canada

How can I ask a customer service agent to RE-open the request and therefore 'get' a refund for the product that didn't arrive???? This is driving me a little crazy, the seller is doing whatever he wants

His name's ***, emporium of randomness - so don't buy anything from that one

I'm afraid there's little point contacting eBay Customer Services, as once a case has been closed accidentally included,  then another cannot be opened for the item, or reopened.

If an item has not arrived I'm sure now turning to your payment provider,  they'll help you with your refund.

I would guess that Ebay Customer Services are currently extraordinarily busy.

As you have discovered, you can't reopen a closed case, even if you closed it accidentally.  From a seller's point of view, having a case opened, then closed, then reopened would be unfair and very stressful.

As advised, try your payment provider.
