Item from Italy still not arrived

Hi guys 

I brought an item from abroad that was posted incorrectly and returned to sender and reposted , all this time the tracking online was terrible,, it is now in customs in Italy I think , it's been around a month since I brought it and stuck in customs about a week , tracking has stopped dead for about a week , I was given a full refund from eBay but I really wanted the item , the seller says it's stuck in customs but im not sure what to believe. Any help would be great , thanks

Nothing you can do through eBay as you opened a case and the seller fully refunded you.

It very well may be stuck in customs , no one can be sure,  and nothing else you can do.  It may even,  one day,  turn up.
