Item bought on Ebay is not listed in My Ebay

I have bought a front numberplate holder for a 2016 Golf via Ebay.  It doesn't fit and I want to return it.  But the purchase does not appear in My Ebay.

What to do?

Did you buy the item as a guest, in which case it wouldn't show in your ebay. Returns are handled differently.
