Bought an item on the 8th March to be sent by 48hr tracked RM. Item has never arrived. Nothing showing on the tracking beyond 'we are expecting it'. Contacted the seller numerous times and the responses are very poor and/or dismissive. Seller only said would to go to the PO to see if they could find out more once I opened a INR case. This seems highly unlikely to me - what would a PO do? I have held out the remote hope that they simply did not post it when they got a ticket ebay simple posting. I will escalate the case tomorrow, but am wondering is this a seller scam? I looked at their feedback one negative review but many positive ones and virtually identical? I know things can happen but the lack of communication/ concern is strange. I just get a feeling that something isn't right beyond simply a parcel going missing.
Just to confirm there is no tracking beyond 'we are expecting it' so assume its not scanned into the system. Tried RM website not just ebays.
Is there anything else I can do?
Luckily most of the items I buy have been issue free.

If already opened escalate to ebay on day four.
No point in trying to work out what seller has or has not done, it is only a scam if you do nothing.
If you can get a full refund what benefit is that to the seller, who if you have to escalate gets a defect which can be very damaging for his account.

Thanks, John your right I can't figure out what they are doing or why - its just frustrating. I would rather have the item than the refund but guess that is not going to happen. I could just do without the hassle! I will hand it over tomorrow to the E bay powers that be and hopefully the buyers protection will kick in. Thanks again for your support.
