Item Delivered, but not updated on eBay

I posted an item to the buyer, but I had to add a little extra to the postage cost, so the tracking label eBay provided wasn’t used, I used Royal Mail tracking instead. The buyer has received the item, and left 100% positive feedback for me, but the item is not showing as delivered in the eBay app, as it is using the old tracking number it provided, and not the one I used. How can I update the tracking number, or receive my payment? Thanks in advance!

To add the new tracking number you still need to generate the original prepaid label.

Then go to the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and change the tracking.   That needs to be done on a desktop browser.

After that you can cancel the original label here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

But even if you can't do the above the payment will be released anyway in 14 days.
