I’m trying to post an item that someone has purchased from me. My first time to post an item. I need the QR code so that I can drop off at a collection point in my city.
If I click “Get prepaid label and QR code”, I get an error message that says, “It was not possible to generate the label. Post from postcode is not valid.”
I'm not sure what the above error message means, and I can't find any information on it.
My post code shouldn't be a problem I'm in one of the largest cities in the UK.
I've tried to contact Ebay support by text. Was in a queue that said I'd be contacted by an agent in 1 minute, after 60 minutes I gave up. I have tried to request a call back. No one calls me back. Does Ebay customer support actually function?
Any help with the above error message would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Is your postcode in the address field in the correct format? (with the space between the first part and second)??
There seems to be alot of issues with the new "simple delivery" system but if you are in a major UK postcode then I dont think this is one of them.
If you call ebay, it sometimes says 1 min to call but can be a 2-3 so try again and hold for a connection, they do call.

Are you using 0 Number instead of O letter, or vice versa, in any part of post code?

Thanks for the advice. I eventually got a call from an ebay agent. Similar to what you have suggested, they suggested deleting the postcode and re-entering it without a space, which seemed a bit odd. Did that, but then the system returned an error saying there need to be a space, I clicked on the automated suggestion for a correction and saved. When I tried to generate the QR code again it worked. So unclear what was wrong with the post code, however clearing it and re-entering it worked in the end anyway.
Thanks for helping 🙂
