Had a buyer request a return for a leather jacket £250 , was a bit strange as he sent me messages asking for measurements, which I sent very clearly with the tape measure and garment laid out , he then sent a message saying he’d bought another coat (too late ) the next day the jacket sold , when I went to message the buyer to say I would send the next day I realized it was the same guy , had a bad feeling from the message exchange anyway , messaged him to say ref postage , got a curt message back saying I hope I was posting as per listing special delivery !!! Not sure who he thinks he is !! Anyway sent item , was received the next day , he was then messaging saying my measurements were wrong , clearly it’s too small , I mean how wrong can I be it’s in a picture, he’s asking for a refund as a gesture of good will , I said I’m not a shop , and it’s not my mistake , so no I won’t offer a refund , he’s now raised a refund request with eBay saying it’s not the correct measurements and wants a refund , he’s obviously spent too much money in 2 Belstaff jackets and wants a refund . My q is once a buyer has requested a refund as item not as described, how can I dispute this as my pics were quite clear with measurements, he is now messaging me saying just refund my money and admit my mistake so I can resell the jacket , what a cheek on principle I don’t want to give him a refund but not sure what to do he’s also given me a bad review, in all the years of ebaying I’ve never experienced someone so rude any ideas welcome
