Invoices not available on purchased goods

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I can't find a way to produce a list of my ebay purchases over a period of say a year. This is obviously so that I can keep a record of my expenditure for my own accounts.
They seem to have a system of recording sales but there's nothing in the 'accounts' or 'purchases' section to cover purchases, and the only way to do it would be to manually go through each item and click on 'view order details' (even then it doesn't display which portion of it was the buyer protection fee).
How can such a big organisation like ebay be so rubbish at providing a basic accounting function that just about every other online platform I have used manages to do quite easily?
Please reply with any useful suggestions.

Buyer protection fee is surely part of your purchase price, so why would you want to exclude it.?

Purchases are listed going back 7 years, but you would only see the basics. If it is essential to have full details it would pay to print out when you buy.

Go to the seller hub, OVERVIEW, look down the list on the left to find purchases.

On the purchases page CLICK ALL.

This just produces a long list going back 7 years, probably not the format you want as at any one time only a few items would be visible at any one time.

My ebay page must be different to yours, it does not have the option to view purchases anywhere, and it's not in the 'orders' section either.
