Instant access to return labels

Why has ebay given ownership to  sellers to provide return labels?  Sellers who have  record of bad practises can abuse this to prolong the process of buyers returning their items.

I use an internet cafe to print the labels and i am charged £1 to use the service, so when i log on and it states that i am having to wait for the seller to send the label, i am charged an additional £1 as i have to return if or when the seller decides to send it.

Ebay can you sort it out, because at this point it appears you are given the go ahead for sellers to abuse the service

You can escalate case to ebay on day 4 of no label or refund.

In your situation better to wait for 4th day before checking ebay.

Ebay does not read on here, we are members like you.

As explained it is up to you to escalate to ebay if seller does not deal with a return within 3 days, so any delay would be down to inaction by buyer.
