I sold my first item I earned 7.90 and the payout was 3 60. So ebay took more than 50^% can someone please let me know is it worth doing. AS a private seller

eBay doesn't take 50%, there are no fees for private sellers unless they add an optional chargeable upgrade to their listings, or promote a listing.

You have all details of money received and what if anything was deducted. Full details are in PAYMENTS, but as a private seller there are NO SELLING FEES, unless you used an unnecessary paid for service.
