Just over a week ago I reported a buyer after they purchased a cooker and arranged collection, but didn't turn up, depsite me contacting them through the evening and the next day, obviously a cooker isn't a small thing to move about, I had to get it out of the garage and out the front ready for collection, then had it sat in my living room because I had no idea if they were collecting it or not. Eventually I was contacted by Ebay stating they wanted a refund because they had changed their mind. That's fair enough, but they could have done me the courtesy of letting me know by answering my messages. There is no way to leave neutral of neg feedback for a buyer unless you report them, so I did, if they had been decent enough to let me know and answered my messages I wouldn't have, but given they just left me hanging, I felt it wasn't good enough. Since then I have listed a bunk bed for collection, and for the last four days I have had a different person trying to arrange collection, asking me to dismantle it, asking me to take cash for it if they can pick up now, etc, but each time I have said if you purchase it through Ebay we can arrange collection and then they stop messaging. I highly suspect these are friends of the person who I reported just trying to mess me around, any ideas if Ebay can do anything to stop it?

It is unlikely to be a friend of your previous buyer because they won't know, anything about you reporting them. Ebay would never discuss reportings with other buyers, no matter what.
In any case there was nothing to report your buyer for. He asked to cancel, which he was allowed to do, evan though he could have answered your messages.
What I would do with your present buyer is cancel the sale with "problem with buyer's address and block them on your blocked bidders list.

Its been 4 buyers over 4 days that have done the same thing, asked me to dismantle the bed, asked me if they can pick it up the same day and then don't pay for it, seems rather a coincidence, as if I'm deliberatly being messed about, I've never had anything like this before and all within days of me reporting the buyer? Am I correct in understanding that you don't think Ebay would have contacted the buyer after I had reported them?

It is extremely unlikely that Ebay would have taken any action on your report.
As advised, deciding you don't want an item is not something you can report a buyer for,

As advised, ebay never discuss any member's issues with another member, particularly when they haven't done anything wrong.
If that particular buyer had taken a dislike to you for any reason I suppose it's possible he could have got his friends to harass you, but that would say more about them than about you.

I didn't think Ebay had discussed a members issues with a another member?? My suspicion was that the buyer had spoken to their friends and asked them to mess me around with collection for other items, It just seems too much of a coincidence and I'm wondering how many days this is going to continue for? I do think that reporting them was a bit of an OTT attempt, but without the ability to be able to leave anything but positive feedback without contacting Ebay, how do you record your experiance with a buyer if its not positive?

eBay may not have told your buyer who reported them, but if they contacted them about their behavour it won't have taken Einstein to work out who was behind it!
Frankly I don't think there's much you can do except wait it out - they will probaby get tired of it soon. You could report this other buyer for encouraging a cash sale, which isn't allowed, but it may only make matters worse.
Some sellers have experienced such persistent auction-spoiling by a buyer that they resorted to listing all their items as buy-now with immediate payment required. But it's unlikely to come to that. And if it did, you should get some support from eBay.

Did you just report them or did you exchange messages as well? If yiu did the messages may have wound them up.
It may also be that reporting a buyer triggers an automatic message to them from ebay about a 'case' being opened.
