I sold a item and have proof of posting. The post office said it was delivered on the 29th. The buyer said it wasn't delivered and is getting nasty with me.  What can I do ??

If the postal tracking on ebay is showing as delivered the buyer will not win a "not received" case.   Ask them to ask their neighbours in case someone took it in.    You don't have to reply after that.

If they are abusive you can report them here:

It might also be a good idea to put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

On the proof of postage is there a 16 digit number? There must be if Royal Mail ( not the post office) say the item was delivered. Make sure the number is uploaded against the item.

Send them one last message with the tracking number and a link to Royal Mail tracking so they can see that, as far as you are aware, the item was delivered.

Then ignore them.

Block them as suggested and eventually they won't be able to message you unless you keep replying to their messages.
