I returned an iPhone I purchased, but eBay gave me till the 27th.

I purchased an iPhone on eBay. It did not work as it was supposed to so I returned it. eBay said I had to return it by June 27. I mailed it on June 25 and didn’t realize the tracking number wasn’t posted to my eBay account and eBay close the case I have proof that it was mailed on the 25th and I cannot contact anybody at eBay to explain my situation. I will be out $200. I’ve been a member of the eBay community since 1999 and never had this type of trouble before. What do I do now. I think it’s a shame that you can’t contact eBay by telephone to explain certain situations. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks

You first need to log out of this UK site,  and log into www.ebay.com to continue.

Here in the UK once a case is closed another cannot be opened for the same item in eBay and we advise members to turn to their payment provider for help with their refund.

I don't know if this is the same in the States so best to ask Customer Services there how to proceed.
