Is this a new practice and also the seller has not received my offer and EBay tells me it has been refused. I am concerned that I have been scammed.

Some items that are listed require age verification by credit card,when you go to pay.

If your card has expired or about to expire you need to change it.Also if your card details have changed.

1. Go to Payments - opens in new window or tab in My eBay.
2. Select Edit next to the card you want to change under Payment options.
   • If you want to add a new card select the +Add payment option instead of Edit
   • Update your card information.
   • Select Save
