I have received an email from britain004 after selling an item.Any ideas who they are please?
They have not yet paid and are asking me to send the item to them and provide a tracking number before they pay, which means that I have to purchase the label before they pay.
Is this the correct procedure?

No of course it's not. They have to pay through checkout before you do anything.

Thanks. So if they don’t pay within a couple of days do I cancel the sale?

It's a SCAM to get the item for free.
If they don't pay after 4 full days cancel with - buyer did not pay - they get an unpaid strike.

When they have paid Ebay, the sale will appear in 'orders' under 'dispatch now'.
When you can see that they have paid. you will be able to see their address by looking at order details with the item.
As advised, you never send before payment has been made.
Only message through Ebay messaging.

They have 4 complete days to pay.
There will be a message like this next to the sold item:

Hi, Thanks for your reply.
it is a buy it now item. The buyers name appears to be Japanese. Ebay are telling me the item has now be paid for but the address for posting is Heathrow International Trading Estate and the name on the postage label is ShopAirlinesEuropeBV. The original email I received was from britainair004.
I am now being asked to amend the postage label as there are too many characters on one of the lines. Does this seem legit to you?
