I feel I have been scammed

Hi

I purchased an item on eBay, paid via my credit card, and received an email from eBay notifying me of the pruchase and confirming the estimated delivery date.

A month later, the item had not arrived, and when I checked the eBay app, it was not listed in my purchases. But I have email evidence of the purchase.

I have made several attempts to contact eBay, but keep hitting a brick wall as the item is not recognised when I enter the purchase item number.

I cannot find a direct contact for eBay as it keeps rejecting my requests for action due to purchase not being recognised.

In the email, I click the link to the item and it goes to a fault and then onto the item.

It is all very weird, and I find it disappointing that eBay, who makes zillions, is irresponsible with customer service.

Any suggestions with how to make contact with them?

Nina

If you have gone over 30 days from the last estimated date for delivery for your item you cannot report this to eBay and need to turn to your payment provider for help with a refund. eBay have a 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee,  this is written on the right hand side of every listing.

However,  if  the item had a long delivery time, perhaps coming from China ?  Then, if this date hasn't passed, open a case for item not received and escalate on day 4 if not refunded beforehand.

If there are no details of the Purchase in your Purchase History,  you may have made it as a ' Guest Purchase' and your eBay account was not used.

This explains how to get those details, and how to open a case for a refund.
