You need to mark as dispatched your end, and to add postal tracking or a collection code to retain buyer protection .As you simply delivered yourself your no longer covered if the buyer disputes the transaction.

eBay requires online tracking proof of delivery.
eBay doesn't recognise delivery in person and you would have no protection if the buyer claims not to have received it.
Hopefully this won't happen, but as a new seller eBay will have placed a security hold on your payments. Without tracking proof of delivery this payment will probably be held for at least 21 days before being released to you.
(There is a new system coming in for low priced items sent without tracking, where only buyer feedback will be required to release payments, but I don't think this is operating yet.)

If you originally bought your own postage, and now delivered the item yo your buyer by hand, you need to finalise the transaction now only on the Seller Hub here:
Go to Orders >> Awaiting Postage, click on the item then top left on View Order Details.
Far right from More Action drop down menu click on ' Mark as Dispatched', this is eBay's wording for a collected / delivered by hand item.
