How to return an eBay package not meant for me

posting on behalf of my elderly relative. 
she had received someone’s eBay delivery via evri. 

unable to contact their customer services as it is all by chat and automated.  

also unable to speak to someone at eBay as customer services also automated.  

how can my relative return the parcel when it is difficult to get hold of a customer service representative?

Are you sure this is from an eBay seller?

If your  relative has purchased some recent items from eBay,  checkout those sellers,  they may just have posted to the wrong buyer.

Click on the seller's listings,  then down the left sidebar click on Sold.  If you find the item there, send that seller a message  that you have received their item in error,  for them to send you enough money to cover a fully tracked return postage to return the item back to them.

Do not be fobbed off with sending to the correct buyer, it goes back to the seller.

Or, just hand this back to your postie,  is there a return address on the back ?

Hi there.

Thank you for reaching out.

Basically, my aunty received the delivery meant for someone else. The item is from eBay as the delivery label has eBay seller on it.

Her road name is the same on the label however the delivery is for the same road name but in a totally different town.

My aunty has attempted to return the package to their local post office who refused to take the item.

We cannot speak to evri or eBay customer service as it's all automated, so unsure how my aunty can return the package.

Grateful for any advice.
