How to do age verification on ebay - dont have credit card- never had one- dont want one, wont accep

Hi ,tried to buy an item that's age restricted- in this case a log splitting maul ,

Ebay wants age verification, 

Won't accept debit card (which is all I have) wants credit card - which I have never had --

And at 55 years old I'm deffo over the required age lol.

Cannot disagree that it's annoying and frustrating , but a credit card is the only form of verification eBay accept that a member is over the age of 18,  the age required to buy any form of bladed item on eBay.

The only workaround if it's an item you can only find here to buy,  then to perhaps ask a friend or family member who does a credit card on their eBay account to but the item for you.

Hi, thanks for that- just a system limit I suppose  , instead of faffing about  - will just get one from toolstation instead easier .
