Hi
I’ve just sold an item and made a mistake with the postage. When I sent the parcel via Royal Mail I had to pay for a new delivery and was told that I would have to claim the original delivery charge back. Has anyone else had this issue?
can I get the refund via eBay or Royal Mail? If so how?

If you had ebay's Simple Delivery on your listing their postage label cannot be cancelled. You could try contacting ebay and see what they say. You should also ask them to change the tracking number for the item. You can use callback on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
If you didn't use Simple Delivery find the label on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/lmng/labels-history/seller-hub
On the left of sales record there's a dropdown menu under "Actions". Click on that then click on "Void Label".

If buyer paid for postage label, it makes sense to me that buyer can cancel the unused label, not the seller. Whether possible I do not know, but it seems wrong that unused labels cannot be cancelled.
