How long to wait for a refund, I posted the item back on the 15th it is now the 20th

The return request just keeps saying 'your action needed' but I have already printed the return label and posted it back I have the receipt for it. How long does it take to get a refund? Have asked the seller to send it me but cannot send him a photo of the receipt as proof, don't know how, because the return page seems to be stuck on the 'print the label', I don't know what to do

Contact ebay and hopefully they will be able to move things along.   You can use callback on here:

eBay Customer Services should be able to escalate tht case for you now if the option is not available for you to manually do this.

Then,  be aware,  once eBay notify you the refund is made,  being processed,  then it's not instantly returned to you,  and does go back to original payment source.

If you paid with PayPal it goes back to your PayPal account fairly swiftly.

Paying with a debit / bank card?  Can take up to 12 days to appear back in your bank account.

Credit card payment?  This takes the longest,  up to 30 days to appear back in the card account used.
