I think you would find that if you try to buy something you should be asked to log in, that would  prevent any misuse of your phone.

Try to buy and see what happens!

On the app, tap "My ebay" along the bottom. Then, under "Account" heading, tap on "Settings". Then, under "Account" heading again, you'll get "Sign out" listed as an option.
