If the buyer has purchased the item there is no way through eBay they can send you the extra cost.
They can send the extra cost via a cheque / bank transfer a PayPal Friends and Family payment, or you can send the a PayPal invoice. However, you will not be able to alter the tracking details.
You can send the new details to the buyer, and should a case for item not received be made, tracking details, hopefully showing receipt, can be entered into the case details.
Your payout with different tacking used, will be delayed for a minimum of 14 days.
