A item was refunded by eBay, as buyer never received it, it was then surprisingly returned to me, I contacted the buyer to explain it had been returned as I wasn’t sure why this happened, they informed me evri told them it had been damaged in transit. Everything was fine they had received the refund and I apologised even though it wasn’t my fault, left on good terms then left me rubbish negative feedback, I tried getting it removed but eBay said it doesn’t violate policy……how is this fair when completely out of my hands eBay even covered the refund due to it not being my fault so I’m confused

That isn't fair, ebay have said they will remove neg feedback received connected to Simple Delivery. Try contacting them direct. You can ring them or request they ring you by viewing this link on your phone - not on a laptop or PC:
