How do I obtain permission to use an image of an item sold on eBay.uk?  I would like to use the image in an article for publication.

You'll need to find out who the copyright holder is.

If the photo is of an item listed by a private seller then it's likely that they took the photo, so you'd need to contact them and ask for permission.
