How do I complain about buyer protection fee and simple delivery. Neither of these are helpful

How can I complain about buyer protection fee and the new ‘simple delivery’ . I don’t want either. These have been pushed on us. Is the only course of action to close my account and leave eBay

If you don't want to continue selling on eBay then your only option is to take a break. I wouldn't close your account in case you want to start selling again at some future point (you have some feedback and provenance on this one).

These changes have been applied to all private accounts and not something you can opt in/out of.  Im afraid this is something you are going to have to work with or find another platform. Do consider though, as much as you may not like the extra that the buyer has to pay (buyer protection) everyone is in the same boat so all potential buyers will have to factor this in when purchasing on Ebay.

A lot of potential buyers have objected in the only way possible, buy elsewhere where an item for sale at £10 costs just that and not £11.12.

Simple postage, is not simple and I expect ebay does not understand that many meanings of the word are far from polite.

Best to keep your account in case reason eventually prevails, I cannot see simple postage being applied elsewhere.
