Hoselock false description.

Looking for a hosepipe spray gun. I have come across a number of items listed as "Hoselock' and further down described as Hozelock. Clearly wrong and false. How can I get someone to attend to these.

Hoselock false description.

eBay will not correct what they can see as a spelling mistake.

Should a buyer buy the item and it is a copy of the real thing, they can receive a full refund under eBay's 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee policy.  If enough of these cases are open, then eBay seeing the same pattern for the returns , will act with selling sanctions even bans.

Using names that resembe well known brand names is a common ploy to make cheap imitation products appear to be the original. However, eBay will not act on reports of this type from ordinary users.

To quote from their policy, "Only intellectual property rights owners can report eBay listings that infringe on their copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights".

eBay suggests that members who wish to report such issues should get in touch with the rights owner (in this case Hozelock) and encourage them to contact eBay.
