Who was that email from?
Have you contacted the seller to ask for the tracking number so you can check online from the courier' s website where and when the item was delivered. Have you asked neighbours ? If this was a Royal Mail delivery ask your Postie where they left the parcel.
You can open a case for item not received, but if the seller has tracking to show delivery, they will not have to refund you.
