Help! Messages between seller and potential buyer are not working

I'm experiencing problems with messages between myself and a potential buyer. It is most frustrating because since 8pm last night, when I try to message my buyer for a viewing of my item I'm selling, the message fails to send. Instead of being blue, it is grey with a red exclamation mark. Is anyone else having this issue? How do I resolve? I cannot contact eBay as there is no category for this!

I am not sure if this is the problem but ebay does not allow the exchange of contract information before purchase.

Thank you. The issue is that the buyer wants to view, but needs my address,
so this is now impacting the sale.

The buyer is not allowed to view, that's why you can't exchange contact details.

Oh. So how can they come and collect the item if they don't have my address?

After the sale has taken place and the person has paid for the item, you are allowed to exchange contact details and addresses etc.
