Cash on collection is no longer an option.  You have to pay through Ebay checkout.

Payment is pending collection, I need to pay for it now, otherwise the
seller will not allow Shiply courier to pickup the item, eBay is blocking
messages with phone number email address and home address and name, I need
the details for the courier company to collect it.

Do you mean you have paid but Ebay are telling the seller that they won't be paid until the item has been collected?

I tried to pay for it with buy it now and I confirmed payment and then eBay
says payment pending collection, I can't collect it myself I live in

the problem is that the seller hasn't received payment so how can they
allow Shiply to pickup the item when the seller hasn't received anything
for it, not only that eBay are blocking messages with the sellers

Are you seeing that message from Ebay?  Where/how?

Or, is the seller being told that they won't be paid until the item is collected?

Yes I'm seeing it in my purchases. Not only that but the seller is being
blocked from sending me the details that I need to be able to give to the
courier company, so I've purchased it but seller has received nothing and I
can't get collection details either.

The seller will be able to send you their details now you have paid.

There is sometimes a short delay in them being able to do this.

If they claim they can't do that, tell them to text or ring you - they will have your phone number in the 'order details' for the sold item.

The seller may not receive payment until you have collected the item.  You will have to supply the courier company with the collection code but don't give it to the seller directly.

Ok thanks, I'll give the collection code to the courier company and hope
that helps, I have asked the seller to get it touch with me to sort things
out, I didn't know that the seller would have my phone number or email
address. I will send them a message and ask if they have my phone number or
