Hedge clippers

I'm 68 years old and I don't have a credit card. Why can't I buy some hedge clippers? It's totally stupid.

Yep, them are the rules on eBay now, and hedge clippers come into the recent stricter ' knife blade ' policy.

eBay will only accept a credit card as proof a member is over 18 years of age,  as anyone of any age can own a debit card.

The onlt way round this is to ask a friend or family member who does have a credit card on their eBay account,  to buy this item for you.

Thank you.  I've ordered from Amazon instead.  I'm not getting a credit card just to pay ebay. It's stupid.

I do not know what Amazon do but the rules will still apply at some stage and you will be required to prove your age, although at delivery it should be obvious, but it does pass the buck to delivery person.
