There is no phone number for eBay, but you can request a call back.

This is the easiest and quicket way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Better still,  come back here to us,  explain the issue you are having,  there are  many experienced members here happy to help you.

It may be quicker and you may receive a more accurate answer, too.

Hi tressygirl thanks for your reply I have 2 questions l opened a shop in April ready to be a business seller but only took the cheap shop and now l realise that l am still a private seller and doesn’t let me change or upgrade to what I want. And the other is why do some of my listings keep going to global shipping as this is the 3rd time I have had this problem in a row and obviously the buyer doesn’t want it but I can’t change it thanks

Opening a shop doesn't affect the type of account you have, you should still be able to upgrade to a business account, regardless of the shop type, it's a totally different process.

You have to turn GSP off in your settings, and then block overseas buyers as well as only stipulating local postage.

If you want to sell internationally then GSP is the simplest option for you as you don't have to deal with all the customs stuff.

Changing from a personal account to a business account

If you've already registered with a personal account but would like to upgrade to a business account, here's how:

1. Go to Account settings in My eBay.
2. Select Personal information. 
3. Select Edit next to Account type. You may be asked to sign in again.
4. Select Confirm to upgrade to a Business account.
5. Specify whether you operate your business as a legal entity or as a sole proprietor and select Continue.
6. On the following page, enter your business information such as name, contact information, and returns policy. Then select Save.
