Hi I have just sold an item via GSP, I purchased a postage label via ebay but stupidly it was for the incorrect weight. This label is now voided. I purchased another label for the correct weight.

But there are now two tracking numbers for my one item.

I contacted eBay CS and was informed:

the label was voided and the system is not giving an option to change the tracking because it is a GSP sale and GSP has already added the GSP tracking number

I am not sure I am being overly cautious with the tracking for the void label, but if GSP shows the order not arriving at Pitney Bowes/being delivered, the system could generate a refund to the buyer/my funds get put on hold.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You only need proof of delivery to the GSP hub, so I do not see where GSP tracking comes into it.

There should be provision for editing YOUR tracking, as I cannot see that both tracking numbers can be used. There is a lot to be said for buying your CORRECT tracked labels at the post office and adding to the item on ebay yourself.
