Getting refund

Im having trouble getting a refund from seller..he says he cant refund me whilst the case is open..there seems be a five day delay due to ebay..im worried if i close case i wont get a refund..or should i wait for the 5 days to lapse???

Never close a case - you can't re-open it or open another for the same order.

Wait for the option to get eBay to step in appears and use that.

NO--- do not close the case, as once closed, it cannot be reopened !.   Continue through the eBay case for your refund.

If you have to escalate, seller get a defect, which will damage his account, so unless he deals with your case, it is worth waiting just to teach him a lesson.

It is completely untrue that seller cannot refund while case open, seller refunds through the case without damaging their own account.
