Getting Simple Delivery Payment Returned

I sent an item to the buyer on 6 December 2025, but didn't use Simple Delivery.  As I could send the item much cheaper I paid for delivery myself. I notified ebay at the time using their opt out form (which I can't now find). The buyer has acknowledged receipt of the item via eBay Messages on 13 December. However, eBay are still telling me I should post the item. I've been charged for Simple Delivery even though I did not use the label. Please could anybody say how I now get the payment for Simple Delivery returned to me as i never used it. Many thanks.

You can mark dispatched by opening the original pre-paid Simple Delivery label  (Get prepaid label > Get prepaid label and QR code).

If you paid for it (ie. you had free postage on your listing) you can cancel it here:

Many thanks.  I thought that opening up the pre-paid Simple Delivery label (Get prepaid label) would commit me into buying the label which put me off somewhat!

Thanks also for the link.  This was the form I'd originally filled in, but I couldn't find a record of the completed form anywhere.
