If sending an item say £100 on the GSP. Can you or should you send it recorded to the uk domestic shipping hub?

Even if posting to UK buyer,

unless You can prove delivery, you always have to refund if buyer says not received.

If using GSP , once you prove delivery there, you are not responsible from then on.

I would certainly use a tracked service.  Royal Mail 24 or 48 hour tracked (without a signature) covers the value of the item up to £150.

'Recorded' has not been a Royal Mail service for several years now.

Re: GSP

Recorded is now called SIGNED FOR, and only provides cover of £20, so if a £100 item gets lost the most you can claim is £20.

Tracked 48 is very popular now and gives cover of £150.
