Funds on hold

I sold an item.  The buyer inspected and collected it.  I scanned the collection code and it was marked as collected.

The buyer has since left positive feedback.

I am a fairly new seller, but surely this is irrelevant if the buyer has confirmed they are happy through positive feedback.

How get I get eBay to release the funds please?  It is immoral to hold my money in this situation. I respect the need to protect buyers as far as possible, but not when they have confirmed they are happy. Is there not a way to request a release of funds?

Funds on hold

It's not immoral,  it's eBay's rules.

The feedback will not count,  as feedback can be left in error, but you rightly scanned that collection code,  so your payout should be released in 2 days.

If not , contact eBay Customer Services as you are a new seller,  your initial payouts may be placed on a longer hold,  but your scanning that code will help matters.

If you need to ,  this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
