Finding postage cost before using BIN

I'm looking at an item from a seller who is in Germany, I'm in the UK. The seller will send the item to the UK but when I ask for the postage cost he replies with  'Hi, the shipping cost will be shown when you submit your order.'

I don't want to hit the BIN button until I know the postage cost which MAY be very high but then I have already commited to purchase.

What can I do to find the postage cost withought committing to buy.

unless the seller informs you the postage costs don't commit to buy or [as you say] they can charge anything they like.

If the shipping costs would show when you buy, that does imply that he has loaded costs.

Have you looked under postage details tp see if shipping to UK is shown with the cost. Just look at postage and use drop down menu to see if UK is included, if so then click get rates.

As said already do not buy without knowing the cost.
