I bought a watchstrap. It broke after a few days.i reported it to the seller and was informed that I would receive a replacement.  I have not received it

 You may be able to open an official 'Not as described' case if still within 30 days from item receipt through eBay  and escalate on day 4 onwards >

When you have a problem with a purchase, if within 30 days of receipt, always use the ebay Money Back  guarantee, there is a link on the right side of every listing but do many buyers never bother to read about it.

Sellers cannot ignore a case once opened, as if buyer has to escalate a case to ebay, the seller gets penalised.

Trying to deal direct with sellers, they can ignore you or make promises but there is no way to make them do anything, ebay will only get involved if you have opened an ebay case.
