Faulty goods

I daught a item on Feb 17th it has now gone faulty 

I can't ask for return as after return date what can I do it cost a lot

It's too late to do anything via ebay, they only alliow 30 days.    Contact your payment provider direct and see if they can help.   If you  used Paypal or similar, or your credit card you should be OK.
