Faulty Italian charm

Hi wanted some advice I bought an Italian charm off a seller of a Welsh dragon after wearing the charm on the bracelet twice the head came off the dragon. I contacted the seller within the 30 days twice and had no response, I then asked if I could return the item as it’s obviously faulty to go through eBay to find the seller doesn’t take returns. I thought they had to take faulty items back? Bar that they took over the 30 days not to reply I missed out on the eBay buyer protection. I have been shopping on eBay for years and this has really put me off buying items again. Is there anything I can do to appeal

Re: Faulty Italian charm

Contact your payment provider and ask about a refund.

Re: Faulty Italian charm

Instead of contacting the seller you should've just opened an eBay return and selected 'Item defective' as the reason within the 30 days that you have to do so, once past that you can't return an item via eBay.

As advised, if you paid with a debit/credit card or Apple Pay then contact your payment provider so see if you're covered by them.
