False bids

Could any one advise please I am fairly new to selling on ebay I recently sold a bike for £970 a couple of days later the byer messaged to say he had £1000 at the time of bidding and his dad had stolen £400 leaving him only £600 I told him not to worry I could give him longer to pay and even let him have it for £900 I got no reply I canceled the sale and relisted today I recieved a message of him saying he won the auction and he would find te money he wanted the bike still and now is putting in false bids of £5000+ but I really dont want to cancel the auction and start again due to the 9 genuine bids is there a way to remove bids of report the bidder on ebay as I was charged nearly £300 in fees for the last auction through boosting my sale and putting a reserve on, basically I probably will probably end up out of pocket due to one malicious person

You can cancel his bids and the  use your buyer blocks to stop the bidding again.

You have also found out the hard way that reserves are a expensive waste of money and promoting is a waste too for most items sold by private sellers.
