Excessive postal charges

I sold some mini playing cards for £2.00 and free p&p.  eBay deducted £2.70 for postage. I explained to Customer Services that I only wanted to put a stamp on the envelope as it is so light.

The Lady said she can’t refund the postage money and can only refund if it is cancelled.  
I am fuming about this.  The buyer has agreed to cancel.  I will relist it but with free collection!

Just an add on - After nearly 16 years I will no longer be using eBay for the foreseeable future. I am still fuming about this. Why alter postal charges when it had been fair to everyone for so long!

Yes,  this new Simple Delivery has not been a ' popular vote' for many.
