Evri refusing to process compensation claim for damaged item

I sold a small, low cost Item which I sent via Evri through eBay post options.  It was eventually delivered 12 days late, and package and item damaged and useless.  Buyer requested refund which I gave. Evri will not process a refund claim and say I muxt contact Ebay to make a compensation claim. How?     Neither Ebay or Evri customer support (!) seem to want to engage with this.

If it was Simple Delivery, when the buyer opened a "not as described/damaged" case ebay should have issued the refund and you keep the original payment.   

 

As you refunded upfront I'm not sure if they will do anything now but contact them and ask.  You can request a callback on here:
