Evri postal service

Why do eBay offer Evri as a postal option. They cannot be contacted by phone or email, they lose parcels but take your money. You cannot contact a person at customer services.

They offer it as some members prefer it.

At the moment it is a choice from many postal carriers but come Sometime before the end of March Simple Delivery will be mandatory for Private sellers,  and we are told initially,  the services for a Buyer to choose will be Royal Mail or Evri.

You don't have to use Evri.  Ebay don't force the company on you - they are a bit cheaper than Royal Mail but you can choose to use Royal Mail.

All companies have their critics but at least Royal Mail have a phone number and online claims if items ghet lost.
