hi , how can i get my original email address to be my ebay preffered email address , i do own the address and have access to it , but it seems my orignal address is "blocked" ,  at the moment i am using my work email address

An emaill address can only be used once on eBay,if you used it on a previous account you can sign in to that but it cannot be used on a new account
