Did you mean:

Electrical fault

Item I purchased is less than a year old and has developed a fault. The seller gave me details of warranty company to get in touch with but the warranty company are saying I’m not covered. The item is less than a year old so by consumer protection laws the product should be covered. Where do I go to resolve the matter as the seller is now ignoring me

People often come and quote this and it's actually incorrect.

If you paid with a debit or credit card you have 120 days to issue a chargeback.

Outside of that you'd need to take legal advice.
