Ebay unwilling to support refund for dangerous microwave

I have bought what was sold as a new microwave oven on ebay. The item was damaged including damage to the door hinges thst affect the structural integrity if the Faraday cage used to stop radiation escaping from the over. The seller send a return label for 2kg parcel when the microwave weighs over 30kg. Despite constant requests fir an appropriate return kab one has not been sent. I tried escalating to Ebay while the case was open but the bot assistant blocked this as the case was open. Now it's closed I finally spoke to someone who said they will not help as the case is closed. So Ebay will not assist while the case is open or now it's closed. Is there anyway I can escalate this with Ebay. The person I spoke to said there are no escalations but I cannot believe that is the case.

Looks like the case closed because you ran out of time to receive the correct return label to send the item back.

If a seller issues the wrong return label it's usually a 2kg one unless the seller adjusts this to show the correct weight,  what you should do is to contact eBay Customer Services who will re issue the correct label,  and charge it to the seller's account.

If the timeframe for this has lapsed,  then you cannot reopen a case with eBay and now,  need to turn to your payment provider for help with your refund.
