Ebay not Refunding

Hi can i have your help, Basically i spent $247 with a seller buying 6 items, paid via paypal,  instanly i realised the shipping was my old address, i messaged the seller within minutes, they did not reply and the next day at 5pm they sent  sent out to my old address,  they messaged 2 days later and i explained my new address ( registered with ebay), i had the items diverted to a post office ( 100 miles from me) dpd,  so it didnt go to my old address that i havent lived for 15 years!, the items was returned back to the seller, and now they have done the same sent to my old address, i quickly diverted to a post office, ebay has refused to refund me stating items delivered,  what should i do ?

The seller will have your money, not Ebay.

Ebay won't make the seller refund you because the items were sent to the address you used at checkout.

I don't understand how you managed to divert the parcel, but you state anyway that the items were returned to the seller - is this what the tracking shows?

If you have evidence that the items were not delivered to the address you used at checkout and have been returned to the seller, you may be able to claim through your payment provider.

Firstly are all your addresses correct here: https://accountsettings.ebay.co.uk/uas/addresses

Sellers are always told to send to the address given by ebay on the order details/invoices and no other address.

I am confused as you say you have managed to re divert the parcel to your post office, so why the need for a refund? The item has been delivered to a post office at your request.

The post office is 100 miles from where i live( wont let me divert closer)  i diverted it because i dont want it going to an address i lived 10 years ago i have no idea who lives there, and no way to collect it from there so i diverted it just to make sure no one accepts the package
